Roasted low and slow for over 10 hours, this medium-roast Ben Shan from Anxi, Fujian, strikes a beautiful balance between nutty warmth and subtle sweetness. The roast tempers the tea’s green edge, revealing a rounder, deeper character with a smooth, toasty body.
Top notes include toasted hazelnut and burnt sugar, with charred grain and warm caramel unfolding into soft coffee wood and clotted cream. Full-bodied, mellow, and comforting — this is a tea with depth and ageing potential.
