Red tea (红茶 hóng chá), often called “black tea” in the West, is a fully oxidised tea known for its rich body, smooth texture, and natural sweetness. Unlike brisk or bitter black teas, Chinese red teas are typically softer and more aromatic, with notes ranging from dried fruit to malt, cocoa, or honey. Our collection includes 滇红经典五八 (Classic 58), a traditional Yunnan red tea with a warm, balanced profile; 金香红 (Black Honey), a golden-tipped tea with a soft, syrupy sweetness; and 德宏野紫芽红茶 (Purple IPA), a rare wild purple leaf tea from Dehong with deep bitter hoppy notes.
